I have a duo therm propane rv furnace that will only blow cold air. Furnace could also make nosie. A weak power source won t trigger the sail switch and it won t regulate the air flow. We have plenty of propane.

Several things can be checked for a cause in this case. Anything under 10 5 will result in the fan operating but just blowing cold air as the gas valves will not open. Common rv furnace problems include the furnace wont light it wont heat properly or it could cycle on and off. It does kick on and off.

Either hot air from the duct is blowing on the thermostat causing it to think the rv is warmer than it actually is or cold air is blowing across the thermostat resulting in a similar issue. It s possible your furnace overheated. As a result the vent will work but no heat will be produced. As a first step you may want to clean the combustion area.

An rv furnace has an internal sail switch that will prevent the machine from igniting in cases of air flow being insufficient for combustion.
