I have v3 st hub the myq hub s model is myq g0301 and i am using a st multipurpose sensor.

Howdy i am using the new smartthings app.
I can diddle the open close buttons but it does not control my garage door.
Just purchased smartthings hub v2 and 4 multi sensors.
I pull the battery and wait a little bit put battery back in and the temp is updated but the open close sensor just shows closed even though it is open.
With automations this sensor can trigger alerts tell the lights to turn on and off or set your thermostat based on the built in temperature sensor.

If your smartthings multipurpose sensor or smartsense multi is stuck in a particular state there are a few options you can try to correct it.
It looks like my current garage door opener is failing and as i replace it i would like to get something that works with smartthings.
So i logged into the website and updated the type to smartsense garage door multi.
Move it closer to the hub or extend the range of your network using repeaters.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
The battery is 77 or at least that is what is reported.
However it may be necessary to reset the zigbee device and restart the hub to fix the problem.
